Toledo Express is home to the 180th Fighter Wing - an F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter organization assigned to the Ohio Air National Guard, a separate reserve component of the United States Air Force. The 180th Fighter Wing's primary mission is to train, organize, and equip expeditionary war fighters to deploy, fight, and win world-wide, with minimum response time, in cases of national emergency or war.

The 180th Fighter Wing was recently selected to stand up an ASA mission that will aid in the protection of the Continental United States and Canada under the direction of the North America Air Defense Command. In the future the 180th Fighter Wing and the 112th Fighter Squadron will continue to be major contributors to the Nation’s air power.

The 180th Fighter Wing is proud to operate from Toledo as part of the Ohio Air National Guard, ready to deploy anywhere across the globe to defend the interests of the United States.
